Growing in Christian Faith Through the Book of James

The letter of James was written by James half brother of Jesus between 45-49 AD. The theme of the book of James is “Faith"—a way of life that must be adopted as a result of faith in Christ. Like Paul, James knew that true faith brings obedience. Structurally, the letter of James is very similar to that of Solomon. He gives a series of short exhortations on matters of special importance in the practical Christian life.
