Why does God allow us to be tempted? Trials in life are a tool for growing faith in the Lord Jesus. Faith does not grow in ease—hardships create depth and stability. Like fire to refine gold, test is to refine faith. Trials are an opportunity to express love for God. Standing firm in difficulties is a sign of heartfelt love for God. The motivation for perseverance is not fear, but love for God.
