Temptation

In the Bible, temptation is presented as an enticement to sin, a test of faith, or an invitation to disobey God's will. It's not inherently sinful to be tempted, but yielding to temptation leads to sin. Temptation can come from various sources, including one's own desires, the world, or even the influence of evil forces. The bible provides us several ways to resist temptations. We can flee temptations as Joseph did in Genesis 39. We can proclaim and speak God’s words against temptations as Jesus did in Matthew 4.
