Goodness of God

According to James 1:17-18, God's goodness is seen in that every good and perfect gift comes from Him, and He is unchanging, unlike the shifting shadows of the created world. Furthermore, God's goodness is expressed in His choosing to give us new life through the truth of His word. God is good and He is the source of all good. James 1:17 emphasises that God is the ultimate source of all good and perfect things. This means that any positive thing in our lives, whether big or small, ultimately comes from Him. This verse highlights God's unchanging nature. Therefore, we can say that his goodness is unchanging as well. God’s promises for believers are unchanging and remain constant.
