The believers in the early church were concerned with four things: first, the teaching of the apostles, second, fellowship, that is, the mutual communication of the believers with each other, third, the breaking of bread, that is, the observance of the Lord's Supper and prayer. The early believers did everything together and broke bread in each other's homes, that is, they celebrated the Lord's Supper together, once in one person's home and again in another's home. In addition to the Lord's Supper, they also ate their daily meals together. What a pious, joyful, and compassionate community the early church was! When people saw their lives, they were attracted and joined them. Every day the number of those saved in the church was increased.
