David lived during the reign of king Saul. Saul didn’t like David. He tried many times to kill him- always sent David at front lines so that to be killed. But God was the protector of David. David gradually became famous with the people. Eventually he made a reign and invited the people to his reign. Saul who was always trying to kill David, once David had this chance to kill him, but he didn’t kill. He forgave him.
