Mary's Sin and her Salvation

After the people of Israel left Egypt for Canaan, the promised land, Aaron, the brother of Moses, and Miriam, his sister, became envious of Moses because he had been appointed as leader by God. God punished Miriam because of her sin of envy and complaining. She contracted leprosy, a disease of the skin, until she repented of her sin.
God hates jealousy and envy. We should never envy to those who have been blessed by God. God is the wisest and knows everything better than we do.
