Families Consider the Implementation of Polio Vaccine illegal
3 November 2018
A number of families in remote areas of Afghanistan say their children have not been vaccinated against the polio virus or polio, which could be harmful to their children.
While thousands of vaccinators are required several times a year in the Polio campaign to go home to rescue children from permanent paralysis and disabilities to vaccinate them, most families refuse to adapt to their children because of lack of awareness.
Some of these families believe they may become infertile in the future by adapting their polio vaccine.
