Esau Does Not Value his Birthright

Abraham’s promised son Isaac had two sons, Esau and Jacob who were twins from his wife Rebecca. Isaac loved his older son Esau more than Jacob. However, God had chosen Jacob to be in the line of those whose one descendant would be the future saviour. Based on this story, it can be inferred that God knows whom to choose to fulfil his perfect plans. This doesn’t mean that one person is better than the other. We are all sinners in God’s sight. But God has different plans for each one of us. We must not criticize God’s choices. Undoubtedly, whatever he does is right and good and perfect.
