Complaining and Grumbling

We complain and grumble about the weather, the economy, politics, church leadership, and even traffic during the holidays. Complaining has become a daily thing. Spouses complain towards each other, or parents towards their children. We complain towards the behaviour of our neighbours, or the shopkeeper on the street! Grumbling is a way of life for many of us, but I want to suggest to you that it is a great sin that aligns us with the work of darkness. The word grumble means to murmur or complain under your breath about someone or something. God’s word in the Bible encourages us to not complain or grumble but do everything with a joyful and grateful heart.
