Water Into Wine

John’s gospel portrays the deity of Jesus. We read in John chapter 2 that Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water to wine. This miracle tells us that Jesus is our provider. Later on we read that Jesus fed thousands of people. Jesus wanted to give us his best to save us. Jesus gave his life on the cross for our sins that we might be forgiven. In the second part of John 2 we read that Jesus cleanses the temple courts. Many Jews in the time of Jesus were using religion as a business to make profit, unfortunately, some do make a business out of religion. As Christians, we believe that we received salvation and the good news for free and we share it for free.
