Jesus Heals a Man With a Demon

Demons and evil spirits also know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and has power. Evil spirits cause destruction and alienation. On this occasion, the evil spirits beg Jesus to send them into into pigs. When the demons entered them, the pigs became wild and rushed off a cliff into the water. The owner of the pigs suffered a great loss.
Two things become clear from this incident. First, a human being is more valuable in God's eyes than many pigs. A herd of two thousand pigs was lost, but at the same time a demon-possessed man was completely healed. Second, we learn from this incident that Jesus has great power. He not only has the power to heal, but also the power to destroy.
