A phenomenon that has always claimed many lives, it is one of the most populous cities in Herat, where most of its people are obsessed with traditions and practices.
We have often heard and heard from mass media that girls and women in Herat, more than any other part of Afghanistan, face various forms of violence.
One of the same kinds of violence, and of the greatest violence against women, is self-immolation. Self-immolation due to family pressures, and forced marriages.
