Relationship With God or Religion?

Is religion the only way to get closer to God or to have eternal life? People in Afghanistan and Iran are tired of religion/religious rituals and commandments. The recent survey in Iran indicates that a majority of Iranians do not consider themselves as a religious person. All religions in the world wanted their followers to do certain things and do not do other things. By doing or not doing their commandments, you might have a chance to get closer to God or have eternal life. Only in Christian faith we believe that God sent Jesus Christ to die for our sins and through faith in Him we have relationship with God and have eternal life. Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth and life (John 14:6).
