Offering of the Widow

Luke 21:1-4 gives us an important lesson about generosity. The widow did not have to give anything but she gave everything she had. She did not want to be noticed like rich people. When rich people give they want to be recognised. Jesus wanted all of us to be generous in our giving. We give not because we are commended to, but because we want to give. We can help others, spend time with others and offer our prayer and support for people who are desperate and in need.
