Jesus and David

Jesus often asks questions to teach us a lesson. In Luke 20:41-44, Jesus refers to 2 Samuel 7:12-16. Here, Samuel makes a prophecy that the Messiah will be David’s offspring. Why then, does David in Psalm 110 call his offspring his Lord? Jesus makes his identity clear that he is the son of man and son of God. Who is Jesus? This question is the most import question in our lives, either he is nobody or he is who he claims to be, the son of God. Rightly answering who is Jesus will make a huge difference in our destiny and in our lives.
