The miracles of Jesus Christ are supernatural acts attributed to him in the Gospels, demonstrating his divinity, love, mercy, and power over nature, disease, and death. These miracles numbered about 60 and occurred during his three-and-a-half-year ministry. They ranged from healing the sick and casting out demons to feeding thousands and walking on water. These miracles are signs of his messianic identity. These miracles were not merely for show, but were performed to demonstrate God’s love and compassion for the needs of people. They were performed to confirm Jesus’ teachings, to reveal his identity as the Son of God, and to show that he came to forgive and free people from sin.
