The Healing of Two Blind Men

Jesus is followed by two blind men. How in the world can two blind men follow Jesus? We can guess that they are following the crowd and the noise, asking everyone around them where Jesus is going! Wherever Jesus walks he attracts many people and the two may also have heard the healed woman’s testimony.
They cried out, "Son of David, have mercy on us." Two blind men followed Jesus and they cried out to Jesus as the Messiah. The Son of David was an important Christian title. They asked Jesus for mercy. There was no talk of merit, no pleading of their past sufferings, their sustained efforts, or their determinations for the future. Just, "Have mercy on us."
This is a good example for us too that when we cry out to Jesus Christ, we should not be proud of our past, works and beliefs, but ask Christ to have mercy on us and on our families and our people.
