Bribery and corruption hinder the growth of countries.
Corruption is, in the simplest sense, the personal benefit of public and official positions. Employees who have used an official position for their own benefit have committed corruption. This includes the personal benefit of deviating from official qualifications starting with bribery and embezzlement. Corruption is mainly shaped by dictatorial and non-responsive systems. Corruption is more widespread in countries where the economic mafia and drug trafficking gangs are more active. Poverty is also an influential factor in the corruption cycle. The weaknesses of law enforcement agencies are other factors in the spread of corruption.
