Jesus' Crucifixion

The Bible is clear that Jesus was crucified on the cross for our sins. He was buried and on the third day he rose again. While he suffered on the cross, Jesus said: Father forgives them as they do not know what they are doing. He was persecuted but decided to forgive his persecutors (religious leaders and roman soldiers). The power and the love of God was shown on the cross through Jesus.
