Jesus and the Samaritans

In the gospel of John chapter 4 we see how Jesus breaks different walls that separate us from God and from each other. Jesus traveled to the area where Samaritans live. The Jews did not like Samaritans but Jesus broke the wall of hatred and went to the area where Samaritans lived. Jesus initiated a conversation with a woman that had a challenging life. Jesus took down another wall when a Jewish man would not talk with a woman. Jesus gave dignity to the woman. Later on in John 4 Jesus said that the time will come when people will worship God in Spirit and truth. One more time Jesus broke the wall of separation between God and people. Jesus said that He is the truth, life and the way and this means people can worship God in the Spirit through him which is the truth.
