Evil spirits are angels that have been cast out of heaven. The devil or Satan, who deceives all the people of the world, directs them. These evil spirits are created beings without bodies. They have the ability to take possession of the physical bodies of people, and live in them. The possession of the body by evil spirits occurs when a person's body comes completely under the control of an evil spirit. But this will not happen to the children of God (believers) because they have the Holy Spirit in their hearts. Jesus Christ, during the time he served on earth, encountered many evil spirits. Of course, none of them had power comparable to the power of Jesus Christ. Evil spirits or the cast out angels are the enemies of God, but they are defeated enemies.
