Evil spirits are the same as the cast out angels. It is the devil or Satan and it is he who deceives all the people of the world, evil spirits, as non-corporeal creatures, have the ability to take possession of physical bodies and dwell in them. The captivity of the body by evil spirits occurs when a person's body comes completely under the control of an evil spirit. But this will not happen to the children of God (believers) because they have the Holy Spirit in their hearts. Jesus Christ, during the time he served on earth, encountered many evil spirits. Of course, none of them had power comparable to the power of Jesus Christ. Evil spirits or the cast out angels are the enemies of God, but they are defeated enemies.
