Why Do Christians Call Jesus Christ the Son of God?

When we look at the Holy Bible, we see that three disciples of Jesus Christ witnessed his transfiguration (the transformation of his body) with their own eyes. This transformation is proof that he is the Son of God. This fact was later confirmed by God himself, who spoke from the cloud and said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; listen to him." From this moment on, the disciples should no longer have had any doubts about the true character and identity of Jesus. Rather, they needed to listen to him! Those who want to know God's thoughts must listen to Christ.
