Opposition to Jesus

He taught with wisdom. He ruled the Word of God in the Bible. He gained fame and excellence throughout the region for his unique teaching. He returned to his village and taught. At first he was admired and welcomed, later turned away from him in opposition to him. They taunted him and tried to kill him. Why are they opposed him? Is the prophet really not accepted in his city?
