Celebrated by over 300 million people worldwide, Nowruz (Persian New Year) is a 3,000-year-old festival celebrated in Iran, Afghanistan, across Central Asia and beyond. But what makes it so special? Nowruz marks the arrival of spring in these countries and also the beginning of a new year.
As Christians, we celebrate Nowruz as a new beginning and a new life in Jesus Christ. We celebrate Nowruz as a cultural value and as a symbol of our renewed faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Happy Nowruz, Happy New Life in Christ!
