Paul says that we preach Christ crucified (1 Corinthians 1:23). The death of Jesus Christ on the cross for the sins of the world is the foundation of Christian faith. Unfortunately, Afghans believe differently because of misinformation. As followers of Jesus Christ, it’s our job to share the truth about Jesus Christ’s death on the cross for our sins according to the Bible. Jesus said that He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Jesus Christ died, was buried, and on the third day he rose again. Through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, our sins can be forgiven and we can have eternal life.
Followers of Jesus Christ around the world celebrate His resurrection on Easter Sunday. The truth is that we cannot separate Jesus’ resurrection from his death on the cross on Good Friday. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are two fundamental pillars of the Christian faith. He died and He rose again. Jesus Christ’s resurrection gives hope that one day all who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord will meet him. Acts 1:11 says, "This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” Jesus Christ is coming back as the Lord of lords and God of gods. Come Lord Jesus!
