Jesus on the Way to the Cross

The soldiers beat Jesus, spit on him, put a crown of thorn on him and forced him to take his cross. Finally Jesus was hung on the cross between two thieves. Jesus had all power to resist but he willingly went to the cross to give his life for our sins. Jesus died on the cross for the sins of his friends and for the sins of his enemies. Jesus said: Father forgive them. Jesus died on the cross, buried and rose again.
