We must remember that not only are our bodies healed from physical illness in the name of Jesus Christ, but more importantly, our souls are also saved from spiritual illness, that is, sin. According to the Apostle Peter, if the Jewish leaders persist in rejecting Jesus, they will realise that they have rejected the only way to eternal salvation. This is because there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we can be saved. No one else can save us.
Some people ask: Why do Christians preach so much? Why don't they let people follow their own religion? This verse answers that question. It is only through faith in Christ that one can be saved. Jesus is the only way to the heavenly Father. That's why Christians are instructed to share this good news with everyone.
