Children's inappropriate behaviour toward each other includes physical (hitting, biting), verbal (insulting, belittling), or social (rejection, isolation) aggression, usually due to an inability to manage emotions, attention seeking, imitation, or a need for power. Effective intervention involves setting clear rules (such as "no hitting"), teaching social skills, focusing on positive behaviours, and modelling appropriate behaviour.
