In the Gospel of John, we read that Jesus Christ is the true incarnation of God. The Word became a human being and lived among us. God became man in Christ. He was completely and in every way human like us, except that he never sinned. But at the same time, he was completely God. The Word was God. To understand who Christ is, we must always remember that he is both God and man. One of the closest people to Jesus was John the Apostle. He knew Jesus very well. That is why he writes here: We have seen his glory. John is not writing someone else's opinion. He writes about what he personally saw.
