What makes Christianity unique compared to other religions is that it is more about establishing a close relationship with God than about performing religious rituals. This relationship is created only through the work of Jesus Christ and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. Christians believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. They also believe in one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Christians believe that God’s specific purpose in creating human beings was for them to have a relationship with God, and that through faith in Jesus Christ people can be saved and have eternal life.
