Dear listeners of Radio Voice of Life, you are hearing my voice from Radio Voice of Life, which is broadcast every morning on the shortwave of forty-one meters. Greetings to you, dear and valued listeners, and we are happy to be back at your service through the programme Azar.
Dear listeners, you are listening to Radio Voice of Life. Well, dear friends, we have our beloved Jawa Jan with us again. Welcome to the programme, Jawa Jan. Thank you, Shahid Jan, may you live long, be well, and be healthy. I also extend my greetings and respects to all our dear listeners who are tuning in to our programme, and I pray that each of them is in good health with their beloved families. Amen.
Well, Jawa Jan, could you share with us and our listeners who are listening to our voices directly from the studio, what questions did our dear listeners have last week? They called in with various inquiries, and what were your responses to them?
Shahid Jan, I truly thank God for the work He is doing in our country, for our dear people who are hearing the good word, the joyful message of the Gospel. Many people called in, especially last week, expressing that they are listening to the word and thanking us for having a radio programme for them. We heard in some places that our friends gather together, and families come together to listen to the word of God through Radio Voice of Life. A few friends have gathered, and families come together, and I am grateful that our loved ones are listening. After they listen, they can watch our programme today and ask us any questions they have. This week, particularly two people who called us asked us to pray for them during your programme. They mentioned that there is a small fee, and they cannot call during the live programme; otherwise, they would definitely call in. But their request is that you dear ones pray for them. They are from different provinces, Shahid Jan, but two individuals specifically asked for prayer, and I want us to pray for those dear ones during this programme. Shahid Jan, at this moment, I want to read a few verses from the word of God that were very interesting to me, especially regarding prayer for dear ones. I was thinking about this while reading the word of God, which is in Colossians chapter one, verses nine to eleven. It says that from the day we heard this, we have not ceased to pray for you. Here, the Apostle Paul is writing to the church in Colossae. He says, "We have heard of your faith, your good relationships, and the growth of your faith, and we always pray for you." He continues, "We ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God." And I also pray that God, in accordance with His glorious power, may strengthen you with all power so that you may have great endurance and patience.
Shahid Jan, when we see this prayer of the Apostle Paul for the Colossian churches, I feel exactly the same way. We have been together; we have recorded many programmes in the past few weeks, and we have been together with other believers, with God’s servants, and with our dear compatriots who are not only followers of Jesus Christ but are servants as well. Each of them serves in different places, and we have come together for this purpose. We have prayed together, Shahid Jan, isn’t it true?
Yes, yes, we have seen many good things, and we have especially seen good things for our fellow countrymen and our dear listeners who are listening to our programmes. Our prayer is that through spiritual insight and understanding, they may fully grasp God's will.
When we understand God's will, our lives change. When we comprehend God’s will and desire, our lives are transformed. We see God's blessings, grace, and mercy in our lives and families, and also in our society. Because when we fully understand God’s will, our will aligns with God’s will. And when our will and God's will are one, as it is said, blessings are in blessings.
Regarding life, they say to live in a way that pleases God. And in every good work, we should bear fruit in our lives. God wants us to bear fruit in every good work and to grow in the knowledge of God. In understanding God, we should grow and develop. Just as you and I see a plant growing, how it develops its roots, the deeper its roots, the more stable it remains, Shahid Jan.
Neither storms nor winds can shake it, but those plants that do not have deep roots may be uprooted when a storm comes. The word of God is our prayer; it is that you dear ones who are listening to Radio Voice of Life, you who love God, you who want to live in God's will, our prayer is that you grow in understanding God, grow in the word of God, and our prayer is also that God, according to His glorious power, strengthen you to endure and persevere through all things.
Currently, there are many problems and a lot of turmoil, Shahid Jan. There are significant unemployment issues, and every listener who calls mentions problems related to high prices and the fact that winter is coming. They talk about their houses collapsing and the roads being blocked, but they have nowhere to go. We hear the pain of all you dear ones; Radio Voice of Life is not a one-way radio where we just want to tell you what we want and you listen. We thank God that we can also hear from you dear ones. It is a joy for all of you who call us and share your problems. We pray for you and for each of you. The word of God says in Ephesians chapter six, verse eighteen, Shahid Jan, "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests."
You, our dear compatriots who are followers of Jesus Christ, you who have faith in Jesus Christ, you who understand that you have eternal salvation, we must pray for one another. Those of us who serve you at Radio Voice of Life, we also need your prayers, Shahid Jan, and we want you dear ones to pray for us, right?
Absolutely, because of the situation that is currently prevailing in Afghanistan, we hear and see everything closely. The pain of our people and their problems are truly overwhelming. It is not the case that we are like a one-way street; we feel your pain, your unemployment, and some families do not even have food for a meal. This is truly heartbreaking and distressing, and it compels us to always think about our people, to think about our loved ones, to pray for them. We pray that God makes these conditions easier so that our people do not have to face suffering and torture, do not lose their loved ones, do not endure mental torture, find work, and have a dignified life. It is only through prayer that we can uplift one another.
We pray for our listeners, and we ask our listeners to pray for us so that together we can lift all our problems in the presence of God, and that God's spirit may touch all these issues, bringing joy and peace to Afghanistan. May intercessions and gratitude be offered for all people, for kings, and all those in authority, in the presence of God, so that we may live in peace, godliness, and dignity. For doing so in the presence of our Saviour is good and pleasing. He desires that all people be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
So when we pray as followers of Jesus Christ, we pray for all people. But when we pray for one another, as brothers and sisters, we pray for all our dear people. And this is the word of God for us. Our goal in prayer is that our dear people truly taste the love, grace, and mercy of God. And when we pray for others, Shahid Jan, we see that we are not against anyone. We are not with a specific group; we are not against specific groups; rather, we pray for all our dear people.
For those in power, for those with problems, for those without power, we pray for all our dear people. We even pray for our government that God may help them, that the leaders of Afghanistan may experience God's boundless love. They should have compassion for the people and be diligent in their care. We pray for everyone in power, for every position they hold, that God may use them, bless them, and inspire them to show genuine compassion for our dear people.
And we want to live well and pleasingly among our people. We want to be a blessing for our dear people, for all our people. For those who follow Jesus Christ and those who do not, we pray for all you dear compatriots. If you are not yet followers of Jesus Christ, we thank God that you are listening to this programme, and we pray that one day you can fully understand and hear the message of the Gospel through Radio Voice of Life.
For the message of the Gospel is a message of love, a message of grace, a message of forgiveness. The Gospel is not just a book; it is good news, and it can transform the lives of all of us, all our nation and our compatriots. The Spirit of God can work in us and through us, so we thank God, Shahid Jan, that we can pray for all our people, both for followers of Jesus and for our dear compatriots who are also our brothers and sisters.
As you mentioned earlier, you reminded us that the Gospel is good news; and how wonderful it is that this good news is not for a special group, nor for a specific category, but it is for everyone—men, women, the elderly, the young, and children. It is for all. So how beautiful it is that you hear our voice from Radio Voice of Life, dear listeners. Pray to God that you truly accept this good news, this joyful message of the Gospel and Jesus Christ, so that you may genuinely experience true joy from the heart.
Yes, yes, Shahid Jan, you are right, and again, I want to mention, Shahid Jan, regarding prayer and our compatriots, about these two dear ones who called and requested prayer for themselves. I was thinking about this while reading the word of God, and there are many verses I have read over the week. In 2 Thessalonians chapter three, verses one and two, it says, "Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honoured, just as it was with you."
And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. And this is our prayer for you, dear ones, and may your prayers be for us as well, so that as we have heard the joyful message of the Gospel and believed, our lives may truly be transformed. We also pray for our enemies.
Why? Because of the message of the Gospel. Why do we pray? Because of the life of Christ. Christ prayed for His enemies, and those of us who follow Him, we also pray for our enemies. Yes, there is a verse that says to pray for your enemies, and Jesus Himself did that. He practically did that. He did not just give a lesson and then do the opposite. He lived a pure and holy life. As He said, "Do not commit adultery." He never did that. He lived a pure and holy life. As He said, "Do not sin." He lived a pure and holy life. As He said, "Forgive." He forgave. So you must pray for those who have not yet understood the Gospel, who have not yet understood the truth of God’s word and think that the word of God is against them, when in reality, God’s word is their salvation. It guides them to God, Shahid Jan.
The word of God cleanses us from sin. So our prayer is that God may help our dear ones who share the pure word of God in the Holy Gospel with others. May God save them from wicked and evil people. Amen.
So our prayer for you once again is that you dear ones who are followers of Jesus Christ, and wish to share the Holy Gospel with others, this good news, share it with others. Our prayer is that God may protect you, and for your faith, we pray for each of you.
We pray that our faith remains steadfast in difficult times and that we do not waver. In Luke chapter twenty-two, verses thirty-one and thirty-two, here Jesus says to Simon, His disciple, "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."
So our prayer is also for you, dear ones, and all our beloved compatriots. There are many trials, many problems, and much hardship. But our prayer is that you remain steadfast in your faith. Do not lose your faith so that you can encourage others. Strengthen the faith of your brothers and sisters.
So this is our prayer for you. All these verses I have shared were prayers, and this is our prayer from the workers of Radio Voice of Life for you dear ones, for each of you, for your beloved families. Romans chapter fifteen, verse thirty says, "I urge you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me."
So we pray for one another. You are our partners in prayer, and we are in prayer for you, dear friends, and for your brothers and sisters. We cooperate together, beloved compatriots. And our prayer is that God always keeps you blessed, steadfast, and strong in faith, grace, and the blessings of God our Heavenly Father.
We glorify God, our Heavenly Father. No other religion can say this, Shahid Jan. But we follow Jesus Christ, our Heavenly Father. This means we have such a close relationship with God. I pray that the hand of our Heavenly Father, the Creator of all creation, be upon each of you dear ones, protecting you and your beloved families. May He bless you, your table, your pockets, your life, your faith, and your families.
And in 1 Samuel chapter twelve, verse twenty-three, it says, "Far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you." I will teach you the way that is good and right. Shahid Jan, we, the workers at Radio Voice of Life, will not commit this sin of not praying for you. If we do not pray, we are sinning, just as the word of God says, and we do not want to sin.
So we pray for you dear ones that God may truly guide each of you in goodness and righteousness, in love and grace, and in the joy of the Gospel so that your lives may be full of blessings.
So, Shahid Jan, in conclusion, we want to pray for these two families, especially. This was a prayer we made for all our compatriots. But we want to pray for these two families if you allow us. Very well. And I hope that our listening friends, Kamal, are hearing our voices directly from the radio.
Every dear listener, if you are facing problems, if you are sick, whatever problem you have, this radio is your radio. Call us or leave a message. We will call you back. Share your prayer requests or your gratitude with us so that we can also rejoice with you and pray for your problems and your illnesses.
Well, Jawa Jan, please go ahead and pray a lot. Yes. Heavenly Father, glorious God, holy God, I thank You, Lord, that we can come into Your holy and pure presence and call You Father.
I thank You, Lord, that we can have a healthy and close relationship with You. Lord, I am grateful that You said, "Knock, and the door will be opened to you."
Lord, we lift up to You these two dear families, especially my brother who has seven children and whose wife has passed away. I pray, Lord, that You protect these children, keep this family safe.
Lord, I pray that You bless them so that they can progress in knowledge, work, and life, and that they may hear Your holy word, Lord, and grow in You, not in hatred and bitterness but in the boundless love of God. May Your hand of blessing be upon this family, and for the other family that is in need, we pray in the powerful name of Jesus Christ that You may remove the sickness in that family, Lord. I plead for healing, Heavenly Father. I pray that Your hand be upon them and bring healing to their family so that they may see that Jesus Christ still has the power to heal today.
So I thank You for hearing our prayers, and thank You for answering because Your power and glory are from all eternity. We thank You, Lord, that we can bring our requests before You and thank You for listening to us. We bring our desires before You, and we thank You for hearing us. Our hope is in You, in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We thank God that we can pray for one another and bring each other’s problems before the Lord. We thank God that we can go into the presence of the Father through Jesus Christ, and the Father accepts this through Jesus Christ. May our prayers, coming from the depth of our hearts for our listeners, be accepted by God. May the prayers of our friends, whatever problems they have, and other listeners who are in any part of Afghanistan, whatever issues—sickness, economic problems, whatever they have—be heard. We hope that you have prayed for each of our listeners and that God may grant peace and strength to all our dear listeners.
Thank you, Jawa Jan, for joining us. Well, dear friends, this was our programme that we presented to you today. Until the next programme, we will again be at your service. We entrust you all to the Lord. Do not fear, O sons of Israel, for the Lord your God is with you. Let the walls fall, and let the strongholds be broken, and let the kingdom of God come. O my King, let the strongholds be broken, and let the walls be torn down, and let the kingdom of God come.
