Today’s noisy world can be confusing and frustrating for us young people. But the good news is that in this darkness, there is a bright and reliable light: God’s Word, the Bible. Now let’s see how this light can light our way. The first thing God’s Word teaches us is to find our true identity. In a world where everyone is trying to make us special, the Bible tells us that we were created “in the image of God.” This means that we are valuable and unique, not a copy of others. So instead of dancing to someone else’s tune like a toy, we should listen to the voice of our heart and harmonise it with God’s Word. So the Bible is a better guide for our lives.
