Hearing and believing will lead to faith, but hearing the Word is not enough, we must obey it. For the Word of God is alive and powerful. God is alive and powerful. The Word of God is like a two-edged sword that pierces deep into our hearts and consciences. The Word of God tests the intentions of our hearts. The Word of God is the Word of Christ. At the same time, Christ is the Word of God. The Word that penetrates our hearts, reveals our innermost intentions, and brings us under His judgement is the Lord Jesus Christ.
