Jesus brings resurrection to our bodies and eternal life to our souls and spirits. Jesus not only gives life, but is life itself. Since the Egyptians and the religions of the world, both before and today, worshipped other gods. Moses also asked God his name so that the Hebrews would know exactly who had sent him to them. God introduced his name (I AM) as the eternal God. Just as Jesus introduced himself eight times in the Gospel of John (I AM). Because the name, attributes, and characteristics of God are unchangeable. We can only take refuge in the unchangeable God in stability and security and worship him. He is the same God who was, is, and is to come today and forever and in believers his true spirit dwells.
