A Husband's Responsibility to His Wife

When a man gets married, he should love and care for his wife as he loves and cares for himself. Anyone who loves his wife, loves himself. After marriage, the husband and wife become one, so the man ought to love his wife just as he loves his own body. As a man loves his body, he should love, nourish, and cherish his wife in the same way. This is the best guarantee for a happy and successful marriage. God created a woman so that her husband would love her and take care of her, not so that her husband would mistreat her.
