Followers of Jesus have celebrated Good Friday and Easter for the last 2000 years. The Non-Christian world in general divides into two groups in response to Good Friday and Easter Sunday: Muslims believe that Jesus did not die on the cross for the sins of the world and other religions and atheists believe Jesus did not rose again. In 1 Corinthians 1:23-24 we read that we preach Christ crucified. In other words, the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ are two sides of one coin in our faith. We cannot separate Jesus death from his resurrection.
