Wind and wells are mentioned in the Bible many times. Wind sometimes refers to the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of God. When we believe in Jesus as our personal Saviour, we receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps us and gives us strength to follow Jesus.
The example of well in the New Testament is give to us in the gospel of John 4:1-26. Jesus talks with a Samaritan woman and asks her to give him water. Here in this passage for the first time, Jesus says that he is the Messiah, the one who will come and rescue God’s people. Jesus says "but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
We can drink the eternal water through faith in Jesus Christ.
