We all celebrate new birth or birth days among our families and friends. As Christians, we believe that when we believe in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we are born again. Believer’s new birth is not a physical birth but spiritual, this means our hearts and minds are changed. When a child is born, parents give a name or identity to the child and when we believe in Jesus, we have a new identity in Christ. God’s word in 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us that Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
