Jesus was peaceful. But his main mission was not to establish peace among people. He came to reconcile man with God. But not all people believe in Jesus and not all people reconcile with God. Not everyone will repent and receive forgiveness from God. Those who do not repent and do not believe, always oppose those who do. Those who remain in Satan's realm are always opposed to those who enter God's kingdom. Jesus has separated those who believe from those who do not.
