Who Is Jesus Who Ascended to Heaven?

Jesus Christ appeared to his disciples and the rest of the people several times and in several places for forty days after his resurrection. It is very interesting that Christ's real absence after his ascension was the key to his real presence with all his followers. We humans naturally belong to the earth, but Jesus does not. When we look at the birds, we feel jealous and agree with the psalmist that I wish I had wings like a dove so that I could fly and find peace. So the ascension of Jesus Christ gives us this hope with faith that one day his followers will rise from the earth and reach heaven by God's grace.
