What Is True Fasting?

Many fast and pretend to be humble. They bow their heads and want to appear modest. But according to God’s Word, all this is for show; all this is done so God can see and be impressed! These people honour God not from their hearts but by doing outward deeds.
And worst of all, their normal, everyday behavior remains the same. They persist in their sinful habits.
