The great and compassionate God, the Creator of all humankind, loves you deeply and longs to have a personal and close relationship with you. This truth is clearly evident throughout the Bible. Time and again, God declares in His Word that His love is boundless and unchanging. It is a message that warms hearts and transforms lives.
The Gospel of Matthew (2:1–12) speaks of Magi, or wise men, who followed a star from the East to Bethlehem in search of a newborn king. There they found Mary and the baby Jesus and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.I do not give to you as the world gives Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
