In Christianity, the Holy Spirit, also known as the Holy Ghost, is the third person of the Trinity, alongside God the Father and God the Son (Jesus Christ). The Holy Spirit is fully God, possessing the same divine attributes as the Father and the Son. He is the invisible, personal presence of God, animating and sustaining all creation, and guiding believers on earth.
We Afghan Christians thank God for the cross of His Son Jesus Christ, which gives us the strength to stand firm in our faith and to speak of the cross of Christ with pride. In the midst of the shame of this world, let Your glory shine forth from our lives, O Lord.
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.I do not give to you as the world gives Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
