The Supremacy of Faith Over the Law

"What a miserable person I am!" This is the cry of a man who is aware of his sin and wants to be saved from this sin. The Apostle Paul asks: “Who will deliver me from this body?” And in this case, Paul himself answers: “I thank God.” Why? “Because through our Lord Jesus Christ I will be delivered from the body of this death.”
The One who saves us is Jesus Christ. He will save not only Paul but everyone who calls on His name in faith. It is Jesus Christ who will give us the power to triumph over the law of sin in the flesh. It is Christ who will save us from the penalty for our sins, which is death.
