The Resurrection of the Dead

Mark 12:18-27 tells us that the Sadducees were trying to trap Jesus by asking him a question about life after death. These religious leaders did not believe about the life after death. Jesus explained to them that there is no marriage in heaven. Jesus was the first one who died, was buried and was resurrected from death. Only those who believe in God like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will be resurrected. In other words only those who believe in Jesus as their personal Saviour will have eternal life and will be resurrected or have a glorified bodies after Jesus’ returns.
