Marriage is a holy act that God has founded it. (Some call it a sacrament). God encourages people in his words to get married. The Bible says that when God saw that Adam, the first man, was alone, he wanted to find a proper companion for him among the other creatures. A companion who would love him. But he couldn’t find such a companion for man. So, he created Eve (the first woman) who was a perfect match and became a proper companion for Adam. Therefore, in a marriage both هhusband and wife should bring joy and satisfaction to one another and live in harmony and peace with each other.
