We should do the things in our life which please God. These are the deeds mentioned in the Bible because the Holy Bible is God’s word. It guides us to do good things and to keep us away from evil. Actions that are culturally and socially correct may not necessarily be right and pleasing to God. The ageless message of the Bible are for every age - for the past, present and the future. All stories found in the Bible are instructive because they are the stories of God and of his dealing with people.
