What’s social trauma? Neuner defines "social trauma" as a person's experience of being humiliated or socially rejected in interpersonal situations, which can threaten the person's social integrity. All of us agree that as a nation, Afghans have experienced social trauma for the last 50 years. Wars, conflicts, unemployment, natural disasters, instability and etc. were the main reasons for social trauma. Yes, we need to identify social trauma, but we need to do something about it. First of all God, wants us to be healed—we need to get help from councillors and professionals as well.
