Prophecies About the Messiah: Son of Man

Daniel, one of the prophets in the Old Testament, describes the Messiah as the Son of Man (Daniel 7:13). Jesus, who is the Messiah, refers to himself as the Son of Man as well. The term Son of Man tells us about the Messiah’s deity—He came from heaven to earth. The Messiah suffered on the cross, died for our sins and rose again that we might have eternal life.
